Overview:
Develop and implement sales and package design strategies for existing and new products in concert with management.
- Current markets served by RGC include analytical, biotech, cosmetic, diagnostic, life sciences and pharmaceutical.
- Expand existing RGC product line by obtaining new customers in support of 16 tubular vial converting machine operation.
- Develops new product applications, ideas and strategies.
- Implements the agreed strategies and ensures the defined sales targets are met.
- Analyzes and monitors the sales development results and in cases of deviation from targets initiates appropriate corrective measures based on management review.
Goals:
Analyze and identify new packaging customers and emerging markets for RGC.
- Evaluate market data thru analysis and present sales & marketing strategy to management for review.
- Develop customer required specifications for new products and manage product development process.
Expand existing RGC product line business with new customers.
· Qualify potential customers and opportunities
Insure RGC profit objectives are met.
· Maintain consistent pricing strategy and monitor results.
· Identify potential cost saving opportunities.

Vial Machine Operator

Vial Machine Operator
Summary:
This position is a key support position for the vial production department. This individual must be self motivated and willing to learn next level shift supervisor duties and responsibilities. Must be able to effectively communicate to subordinates all aspects of the job and assist in the optimization of the vial production process. Attention to safety, product quality, productivity and housekeeping are critical to the success of this individual’s performance in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain optimum visual and dimensional product quality of production on all machines at all times through continuous measurement and visual inspection of ware, such that production of unacceptable ware is avoided.
- Visually inspect machine components and operation continuously to detect any potentially unacceptable conditions.
- Maintain all requested statistical process control information on all lines, following standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data collection, entry, and appropriate machine adjustments.
- Perform minor machine adjustments within current training levels in order to optimize machine performance and product quality.
- Effectively and appropriately communicate with all vial packers throughout the shift, in order to minimize production of marginal or unacceptable vials.
- Immediately communicate all potential machine problems and product quality concerns to the shift supervisor
- Perform machine changeovers as requested by the shift supervisor, verifying product acceptability, completing all requested documentation, and following up with product visual and dimensional inspections to ensure a timely and effective changeover, minimizing downtime and product quality losses.
- Maintain all machines loaded with tubing at all times.
- Maintain clean work area at all times, floors, machines, packaging materials, debris, etc.
- Fill Bijur oil systems as instructed by the shift supervisor
- Clean plugs, chutes, and all other machine components as required to produce optimum vial quality and production rates.
- Complete all other duties as assigned by shift supervisor and other management personnel.
- Perform duties of the shift supervisor (if trained and knowledgeable in such duties) as required at the request of the shift supervisor, or in the absence of either.
Requirements:
- Good mechanical insight and understanding as is required to advance to the shift supervisor position
- Good work attitude and willingness to assist with other duties as requested by the shift supervisor.
- Good Attendance, lateness, and willingness to work overtime as required to fill in for absenteeism on other shifts.
- Must maintain continual safe practices at all times and offer suggestions on ways to improve safety in the work place.
- Must be self motivated and willing to learn and advance to the shift supervisor position.
- Must adhere to all plant policies and best practices, adhering to all established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
